General terms and conditions

These conditions describe the rules and responsibilities for accessing and using CleanTool.

Last updated: 29 July 2026

CleanTool is a product of Talistech BV and is currently under active development.

CleanTool is under active development. Features, interfaces and availability can change. Use the service at your own risk and verify important operational information before relying on it.

1. Provider and scope

CleanTool is a product of Talistech BV. These terms apply to organizations, administrators and users that access the service. Specific written agreements take precedence where they differ.

2. Active development

CleanTool is still being built and improved. We may change, add, restrict or remove functionality to improve quality, security or product direction. We aim to communicate material changes where reasonably possible.

3. Accounts and access

Users must provide accurate information, protect credentials and use only the organization and data they are authorized to access. Organization administrators are responsible for memberships, roles and permissions.

4. Customer data and lawful use

The organization remains responsible for the accuracy, legality and instructions relating to information it enters, including employee, customer, planning and time data. It must provide required notices and have an appropriate legal basis.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not access another organization or account without permission.
  • Do not upload unlawful, harmful or infringing content.
  • Do not disrupt, overload, probe, reverse engineer or bypass security controls.
  • Do not use CleanTool for unlawful surveillance or decisions that require safeguards not provided by the service.

6. Availability and support

We work carefully to keep CleanTool secure and available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, incidents, third-party services and active development may cause interruption or data recovery from backups.

7. Intellectual property

Talistech BV and its licensors retain all rights in CleanTool, its software, branding and documentation. Organizations retain their rights in their own content and grant us the limited rights needed to operate and secure the service.

8. Confidentiality and data care

We treat non-public customer information confidentially and apply proportionate technical and organisational safeguards. Absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Each party must promptly report suspected unauthorized access relevant to the service.

9. Suspension and termination

We may restrict access where reasonably needed for security, unlawful use, serious breach or protection of other users. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.

10. Use at your own risk and liability

CleanTool supports operational work but does not replace professional judgement, statutory records, payroll controls or independent backups where these are required. Users must verify critical planning, hours, customer and compliance information.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Talistech BV is not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by use, interruption, errors or reliance on incomplete information. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

11. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, provided reasonable steps are taken to limit the impact.

12. Changes, law and disputes

We may update these terms as CleanTool evolves. Belgian law applies. Disputes fall under the competent courts of the judicial district where Talistech BV has its registered office, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
